Have you ever seen a smiling man on a bus holding a copy of Bee Movie and wondered who he is? This Joe Bartolozzi biography explains who he is, how he became famous online, and which facts are confirmed. We also say clearly what is still unknown, so you get the truth and not guesses.
Who Is Joe Bartolozzi and Why It Matters
Joe Bartolozzi is an American TikToker, YouTuber and Twitch streamer. People know him best for reaction videos, TikTok duets and stitches. In many of these clips he uses a green screen effect, so he appears in front of whatever he is reacting to. He is often seen in the same beanie, either a white Carhartt one or a Teddy Fresh one. Fans online sometimes call him Joe Bart for short.
So why does a creator like this matter? Think of a meme as a snowball rolling down a hill. It starts small, picks up speed, and nobody can say where it will stop. Joe’s face became part of one of those snowballs. Millions of people have seen his smile, even if they never watched one of his videos.

Here is the honest update. We did not find a major news event about Joe this month. No big announcement, no scandal and no new deal showed up in the sources we could verify. He is trending the way many online personalities do: because the internet keeps replaying his moments.
Fan explainer pages on TikTok were updated in early October 2026, and they walk new viewers through the “I’ve Been in the Hills” meme. Short clips of his laughs and funny faces were also still circulating in July 2026, some of them tagged with his account. On top of that, a thumbnail from one of his 2025 YouTube videos is still used as a popular reaction image. When new people discover an old meme, they search for the face behind it. That search is why his name keeps coming back.
The Death Hoax Explained
In mid 2023, TikTok users began posting sad photo slideshows with the words “R.I.P. Joe Bartolozzi.” It was a joke, not real news. Know Your Meme reported that Joe himself replied to comments from people “mourning” him. Some websites still repeat the hoax as if it were true. We found no credible report of his death.
- 2017: His Instagram presence begins.
- Late 2021: The first Joe Bartolozzi memes appear.
- June 26, 2022: A TikTok photo slideshow spreads his smiling image across many meme templates.
- Late July 2022: TikTok removes the edited song sound that powered the meme.
- Mid 2023: The “R.I.P.” death hoax goes viral.
- July 12, 2025: He posts the YouTube video “Humans Are Actually DEVOLVING?”
What to Know About Joe Bartolozzi
Early Life and Family Background
Joe was born in southern New Jersey and grew up there. Beyond that, he keeps most of his childhood and family life private. Some websites list names of relatives, but they are the same kind of low quality pages that invent other details, so we cannot confirm them and we leave them out. In a biography, a missing fact is better than a wrong one.
Career
Joe started building an online presence on Instagram in 2017. He later grew on TikTok, YouTube and Twitch, where he is best known for reaction content. His style is simple: he watches something odd or funny and lets his face and voice do the talking.
His big meme moment came from a photo, not a video. The picture shows him smiling on a bus while holding a copy of Bee Movie. TikTok users paired it with an edited song, and the combination spread fast in late 2021 and 2022. Like a joke that gets told too many times, it became tiresome for some people. Fan explainer pages say Joe has talked about the meme in a joking way and has not always loved how much it took over.
His YouTube channel gave him a second meme. On July 12, 2025, he uploaded a video titled “Humans Are Actually DEVOLVING?” Know Your Meme reports it passed 809,300 views in three months. Its thumbnail shows him next to a skull with the words “Our brains are shrinking,” and people now use it as a reaction image whenever they want to joke about silly behavior.
Age
Joe has not shared a birth date in the sources we could verify, so we will not give you a number. You may see meme pictures with birth and death years on them, but those came from the hoax, so they are not facts. Some websites also give birth years that clash with each other. If a page gives an exact age without naming where it came from, treat it with doubt.
Religion
Joe has not made his religion public. Since he has never discussed it in the sources we checked, we will not guess. A person’s faith is personal, and creators have the right to keep it that way.
Wife or Husband
We found no confirmed information about a marriage or a partner. Joe does not appear to have shared his love life as part of his public content. If that changes and he announces it himself, this section will be updated.
Net Worth
There is no verified net worth for Joe Bartolozzi. Anyone who gives you an exact dollar figure is guessing. Creators on TikTok, YouTube and Twitch can earn money from platform payouts, viewer subscriptions, sponsors and merchandise. Still, the real numbers stay private unless the person shares them. Think of it like trying to count the coins in someone else’s pocket. You can imagine how much is there, but you cannot know.
Parents
Joe has not publicly named his parents in sources we can trust. Some fan pages list names, but we could not confirm them from a reliable place. Out of respect for family privacy, we do not repeat them.
Height
His height has not been confirmed. No official profile or interview we found lists it. Estimates from fans based on photos and videos are not reliable, because camera angles and green screens can change how tall a person looks.
Education
We could not confirm any school names, degrees or graduation years. Know Your Meme says he went to school in southern New Jersey, but the school name is not clear from what we could read. Until he shares it, we will not fill the gap with a guess.
State of Origin
Joe is American, so the idea of a “state of origin” works differently from countries like Nigeria. His home state is New Jersey, and more exactly the southern part of it. Because his last name sounds Italian, many people ask about his roots. The surname is Italian in origin, but that alone does not tell us about his family tree, so we do not claim more.
