If you are searching for a clear Hitomi Tanaka biography, you are in the right place. This guide tells you who she is, where she comes from, how her career started and what is still unknown. We keep it simple and honest, so you can tell facts from guesses.
Who Is Hitomi Tanaka and Why It Matters
Hitomi Tanaka is a Japanese model and adult video actress. In Japanese her name is written ç”°ä¸çž³. She was born in Kumamoto Prefecture and began her public career in 2007. In the years after, her name spread far beyond Japan, which is why so many people around the world type it into a search box.
Why does this matter? Because the internet is full of copied pages. One site makes up a number, ten more repeat it, and soon a guess looks like a fact. A good biography works like a map. If the map is wrong, you end up in the wrong place. So here, each detail is marked as confirmed, reported or unknown.
Reader note: This article is for adult readers. It covers career facts and public details only, and it does not describe any adult content.

Do not mix her up with other people named Hitomi. The pop singer Hitomi, born Hitomi Furuya in Tochigi Prefecture, is a different person. So is Hitomi Kitamura, a gravure idol from Saitama who now uses the name Tama Mizuki. There is also a footballer named Hitomi Tanaka, born in 1993. These are separate people, and mixing them up is a common mistake.
Current Status as of October 18, 2026
So where is she now? The honest answer is that no official update from her or her agency was found for this article. Some fan pages say she retired in 2022, but I could not confirm that from an official source. Her older work still circulates online, which keeps her name trending. If a site claims a big new announcement, wait for a trusted news outlet to repeat it.
Important date: The facts in this article were checked on October 18, 2026. Details can change, so check again later.
Early Life and Family Background
Hitomi Tanaka was born in Kumamoto Prefecture, on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan. One profile names the town of Yamaga, but that is not confirmed. Her childhood, brothers, sisters and home life are not public. Think of it like a book with the first chapters torn out. We know where the story starts, but not what came before.
Career
Her public career began in 2007 as a gravure model, which means she posed for swimwear photos and videos. One profile says her first gravure video came out in November 2007. In 2008 she moved into adult video work and became well known overseas. Fan pages say she won a magazine award called Model of the Year twice, though I could not check that with the magazine itself. IMDb Pro lists about 144 credits under her name.
Age
Most profile pages, including IMDb, give her birthday as July 18, 1986. That means she turned 40 in July 2026. Because the date comes from public listings and not from her own statement, call it reported, not official.
Religion
One biography site says she follows the Christian faith. I found no interview or post from her that says so. Until she speaks about it herself, treat her religion as unconfirmed.
Wife or Husband
There is no verified report of a marriage. Pages that name a boyfriend or husband do not show proof. She has kept her private life quiet, and that choice deserves respect.
Net Worth
No one has seen her bank records, so any figure is a guess. One site says between 500,000 and 5 million US dollars. A range that wide tells you the writer does not really know. Be careful with pages that give one exact number.
Warning: Net worth, relationship and family claims on fan sites are often copied from each other without proof.
Parents
The names and jobs of her parents are not public. No trusted source has shared them, so any name you see online should be treated as made up.
Height
Sources disagree. One lists about 155 centimeters, another about 163 centimeters, and another 5 feet 1 inch. Since no official source settles it, the honest answer is that her height is reported, not confirmed.
Education
I found no verified details about her school, college or training. Any named school you see online is unproven.
State of Origin
Japan has prefectures, not states. Her prefecture of origin is Kumamoto, which sits in Kyushu and is known for Kumamoto Castle and its hot springs. Her nationality is Japanese.
Social Media Links
I could not verify any official social media account for her, so I will not hand you a link that may lead to a fake page. Fake accounts often copy famous names, so be careful before you follow anyone or send money. The one page I checked is her credit list on IMDb: Hitomi Tanaka on IMDb. This is a listing page, not a social account.
Tip: A real account usually links back to an official agency or website. If it does not, stay careful.
