Who Is Adam Klotz and Why It Matters
Adam Klotz is an American meteorologist. A meteorologist is a person who studies the sky and tells us what the weather will do next. He appears on Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, and he is one of the faces of Fox Weather, the weather service from Fox. Reports say he joined Fox in 2014 as a weekend meteorologist.
Why does that matter to you? Think of a weather forecast like a recipe card for your day. If the card says rain, you pack an umbrella. If it warns about a big storm, you may protect your home and your family. The people who read that card in clear, simple words earn our trust over time. Klotz is one of those names, known for calm updates, heavy storm coverage and bright, colorful socks.

Current Status as of October 16, 2026
As of October 16, 2026, Adam Klotz is still working on air. A Fox Weather forecast carrying his name was published on October 15, 2026. It warned of wet weather for parts of the country as temperatures keep falling. Earlier this year, in June 2026, he gave updates on a possible tropical storm near the Texas Gulf Coast, with 5 to 10 inches of rain, and he warned about severe storms in parts of the Midwest.
So why is his name trending? We did not find one single breaking story about him this week. The most likely reason is the season. Autumn brings cold fronts, rainy days and storm watches, and many people search for the forecaster they just saw on TV. When the sky gets busy, weather names get busy too.
What to Know About Adam Klotz
Here are the details people search for most. Each part below tells you what is reported, and what is simply not public.
Early Life and Family Background
Adam Klotz was reportedly born in Warsaw, Indiana, a small city in the northern part of the state. He is said to have gone to Warsaw Community High School. Growing up in the Midwest means he saw real weather up close: cold winters, strong summer storms and the odd tornado warning. Many weather lovers say a sky like that is where the interest starts.
Beyond that, his family background is mostly private. He does not share much about relatives in public interviews, and we will not name people who have not chosen to be public.
Career
Reports say Klotz started the way many TV weather people do: small steps first. One profile says he finished an internship at Country Music Television in 2008. Other reports say he worked in local newsrooms, including a station in Atlanta, before moving to national television. Local stations are like a training field. You learn to speak live, fix mistakes fast and explain a storm to your neighbors.
He reportedly joined Fox in 2014. Since then he has delivered forecasts on Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, and he now appears often on Fox Weather. Some profiles also say he has appeared on college football broadcasts, which shows he can handle more than one kind of show.
What does a weather day look like for a person like him? He studies maps and computer models, checks for storm risks, then turns all of it into a short, clear message. It is a bit like a sports coach reading a game plan and then explaining it to the crowd in one minute. He is also well known for wearing loud, fun socks on air, which gives viewers a smile before the rain.
Age
Adam Klotz was born on January 29, 1985, according to several profiles. That makes him 41 years old as of October 2026. His next birthday falls on January 29, 2027, when he turns 42.
Religion
Adam Klotz has not shared his religion in any public interview that we could find. Faith is a personal matter, so we will not guess.
Wife or Husband
Several recent profiles say Adam Klotz is not married. Older pages mention a girlfriend, but nothing about that has been confirmed in a major interview. He does not talk much about dating, so we leave private names out. If he ever shares news, this section will be updated.
Net Worth
Can anyone say exactly how much he is worth? No, because a TV network does not publish a weather presenter’s pay. What you see online are estimates, and they differ a lot.
| Item | Estimate Seen in Public Profiles |
|---|---|
| Net Worth | About $500,000 to $2 million |
| Yearly Salary | About $70,000 to $130,000 |
Treat these numbers like a rough weather outlook, not a promise. They come from websites that guess based on typical pay for national TV meteorologists. A page that claims tens of millions of dollars is almost surely about someone else.
Parents
Very little is public about his parents. One low quality profile names a mother, but we could not confirm it from a major source, so we do not repeat it here. We prefer a short, honest answer over a long, shaky one.
Height
His height is reported as about 5 feet 9 inches, which is around 1.75 meters. Heights on celebrity pages are rarely measured by the star, so treat this as a close guess.
Education
He reportedly finished high school at Warsaw Community High School and then earned a bachelor’s degree. The exact college and subject are not clearly confirmed in the sources we checked. Most broadcast meteorologists study weather science or a related field, and many also train in live TV skills, but we will not claim a school for him without proof.
State of Origin
Adam Klotz is from Indiana, United States. For work, he is based in New York City, where much of the Fox News team broadcasts.
